Pokemon 2000 v1.0
By Chris Nauta

How to install:
I've put the theme into a self-extracting zip file using WinZip Self Extractor. Simply unzip into your C:\
directory (or whatever drive you are using). This will create a folder entitled Pokemon 2000 under the themes
directory. There are three themes. They are identical except for the picture size. The themes are:
		Pokemon(1024x768)
		Pokemon(800x600)
		Pokemon(640x480)

The Logo files are found in the logos sub-folder. There is a logo install program (Pokemon 2000.exe) created
using LogoZip. Just run this and the logos will be installed. I've also included the logos themselves
in the folder in case you use a theme or logo program to install them.

There are some fonts that the theme uses. They are located in the Fonts sub-folder for
      manual set-up.

The screen saver can be found in the, what else?, Screen Saver sub-folder and will need to be installed
either manually or via your theme program.

For Windows 98 users, the Web views can be found under the Web Images sub-directory

About the theme:
I have a five year old son. And just to be different, he likes Pokemon. I'm sure you've never heard
of this before, since they're relatively unknown and hard to find, but I decided to make a theme about them.
(Yes, I was being sarcastic - but not about making the theme!!).
I tried not to make it Pikachu heavy (like most other themes are), so there is a lot of other Pokemon
represented in the sounds and icons (although most of the cursors are Pikachu!!)

Here's how I put it together:

BACKGROUND:
This came from the Official Pokemon site (www.pokemon.com). I changed it from a BMP to a JPG using PhotoShop Pro

COLORS:
I think this is the weakness of many themes. The maker spends all of his/her time getting the pictures, icons
and sounds but then throws an ugly color scheme in. Ugh!! I worked hard on the colors. I found suitable,
cartoon-like fonts (included as stated above), and I used the three primary Pokemon colors: Blue, Yellow and Red.
I've been using this theme at home for several days now and I havn't found it to be an eyesore or to have
combinations of colors that make things unreadable.

ICONS/CURSORS:
Trying to find Pokemon Icons and Cursors on the web is like trying to find trees in a forest!! Unfortunately,
many of these come with no credit to the maker. The Icons and Cursors in this theme were created by someone
else, but I can not find out who. If you know who, are you ARE the person who created these, please let me
know so that I can properly credit you.

SOUNDS:
Ah, the sounds. I had fun with these. 3/4 of the sounds I found on the web. I ran them through CoolEdit 2000
and turned them all into stereo. In most of these I tinkered with the L/R settings creating (IMHO) fun sounds.
The other 1/4 I recorded myself in full stereo (plugged my DVD audio outputs into my sound card!!).

LOGOS:
How about a flaming Charmander for a startup screen? I took a GIF from the official site and, using PhotoShop
and ZD-Net Logo Animator, transformed it into a animated startup. I'm not too happy about the pixalation, but
it was the best I could do and I'm pretty proud of it. The wait and shut-down screens are BMP's downloaded
(again) from the official site with text added with PhotoShop.

SCREEN SAVER:
I downloaded this from the net, but, again, there is no documentation on who created it.

WEB IMAGES:
Done from scratch using, what else?, PhotoShop. The Pikachu picture came from the net, so I can't take credit
	for that!.
